Our purpose is to promote and encourage prayer within this church body. Prayer is the foundation of the church. We must be open and responsive to the working and leading of the Holy Spirit. We will lead in love, with patience and compassion. Our prayers are for the glory of God and for the benefit of His children. We believe we must "pray continually, pray without ceasing."

Our growing desire is to become a Prayer Saturated Church.

We believe in: 

·                 The power of intercessory prayer: 1st Kings 18:36-46  
·                 The principle of intercessory prayer: James 5:16-18  
·                 The power of prevailing prayer as shown in Acts 12  
·                 Prayer for the unbeliever: Romans 10:1
·                 Prayer for known believers: Colossians 1:3-11 
·                 The True Lord's Prayer: John 17 
·               Power of individual prayer: Elijah and the burnt offering: l Kings 18:36-39
·               Power of corporate prayer: the release of Peter from prison: Acts 12:1-18 

We have a devoted and dedicated prayer chain phone ministry team. Also various activities during the year such as quarterly prayer emphasis week and our community concerts of prayer.
